Comprehensive Eye Exam: During each exam, our doctor uses state of the art computerized instruments to carefully assess your eyes, and test for a wide range of diseases like Glaucoma, Keratoconus and Macular Degeneration. We combine the latest technology, such as digital retinal imaging and corneal topography, with knowledgeable and friendly staff to ensure that your visit is pleasant and your visual needs are met.
Contact Lens Fitting: Our doctor routinely fit disposable contact lenses, contact lenses for astigmatism (toric contacts), rigid gas permeable contacts including Keratoconus lenses, bifocal contacts, one day contacts, and many other specialty contact lenses. Because a contact lens rests directly on the cornea of the eye, it is considered a medical device. Improper wear or handling of the lenses can lead to eye infections and corneal ulcers. Therefore, it is important, and encouraged by the Texas Optometry Board, for contact lens wearers to be examined yearly.
Post-Operative Cataract Care: Our doctor co-manages with several highly skilled, reputable surgeons in the area to provide post-operative cataract care for our patients. She will closely monitor and recommend cataract surgery when appropriate and will ensure that our patients receive the latest, most comprehensive, surgical procedure.
